Terms of service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the "Licensee") and ZeltenLabs (the "Provider") covering your use of Wazzly (the "Software") — a self-hosted WhatsApp CRM. By buying a license, downloading the source, or running the Software, you agree to everything below. If you do not agree, do not use Wazzly.
1. Your license to use Wazzly
Wazzly is sold under a one-time, perpetual license. When you pay, the Provider grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide right to install, run, white-label, and self-host the Software for your own business or your clients. Pay once, reply forever — your license does not expire and does not depend on an active subscription.
Unless your order says otherwise, one license covers one organization. Reselling the Software as a standalone product, or redistributing it as if it were your own unmodified work, falls outside this grant.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Wazzly to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or anything that breaks WhatsApp's own terms;
- break any applicable law, or any messaging, privacy, or consumer-protection rule that applies to you;
- harass, deceive, or harm the people you message, or collect their data without a lawful basis;
- probe, attack, or interfere with infrastructure that is not yours;
- strip out attribution where the license requires it to stay.
Because you self-host, you are responsible for how your instance is used — including messages sent by your team, your clients, or anyone you give access to.
3. Accounts and credentials
Some Provider services — the license portal, updates, and support — may need an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and license keys safe and for everything done under your account. Tell the Provider promptly if you suspect a key has leaked or been misused.
4. Payment and what the license grants
Wazzly is a one-time purchase. The fee shown at checkout buys a perpetual license to the version you receive, plus any updates included in your plan for the period described at purchase. There is no recurring license fee to keep using the Software you already paid for.
The one-time fee covers the license, access to the source code, and the right to self-host and extend it. It does not include third-party costs — your own hosting, WhatsApp Business API fees, domains, or other services you choose to run alongside Wazzly. Taxes may be added where required. Refund eligibility, if any, is described on the pricing page or your order.
5. Source-code use and restrictions
You own outright the right to read, modify, and extend the Wazzly source for your own deployments. You can build on it, fork it internally, and adapt it to your needs.
However, you may not:
- publish the source publicly, or share it with anyone who does not hold a valid license;
- repackage the Software, modified or not, and sell or distribute it as a competing product;
- remove license checks, copyright notices, or required attribution from the code;
- sublicense the source to third parties except as your own clients' self-hosted deployments under your engagement.
In plain terms: extend it all you like for your own work, but do not turn around and resell Wazzly itself.
6. Warranties and disclaimer
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Provider does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every WhatsApp API change, hosting setup, or future platform update.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software. The Provider's total liability under these terms will not exceed the one-time fee you actually paid for your Wazzly license.
8. Termination
Your perpetual license survives as long as you honor these terms. The Provider may end your rights under this agreement if you materially breach it — for example, by redistributing the source or using Wazzly for prohibited messaging — and you do not fix the breach within a reasonable period after notice. On termination for breach, you must stop using the Software and delete any copies of the source you are not entitled to keep. Sections that by their nature should survive — restrictions, disclaimers, and liability limits — continue after termination.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction placeholder], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of [venue placeholder]. This section is a placeholder and must be finalized with counsel before launch.
